ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and moreWe found out today that our documents have been cabled to the US Consulate in Guangzhou on October 26th. This means we our down to the final US step before Travel Approval. The Article 5 can take a few weeks to receive or a few days. Once it is complete, our agency will go to the consulate and courier the document to the CCAA in Beijing. Once this is complete, we are just waiting for the Travel Approval from the Chinese government!! We are getting closer...and are very excited....and a little nervous. It is time to start making the packing lists so that we are prepared to head out when it is time. I am hoping we will have a couple weeks notice but I have heard of families that found out on a Friday and left the following Thursday. So, we need to be prepared for any scenario. I will update again when we have confirmation of the Article 5. Please continue to keep this process in your prayers. Please pray for our families health and clarity of mind as we get closer to this wonderful little girl. Please pray for the boys as they are very excited but can't comprehend the change that is about to take place and the difficulty of mom and dad being gone for a lengthy trip. Also, as we get closer, it is likely they will move Lillie back into the orphanage and away from the foster family so that the transition is easier when she finally meets us. This breaks my heart but I know that it is for the best and that soon she will be with us but I can't imagine the grieving and fear that she will go through during that time. So please keep her in your prayers as well as she will really need us to lift her to the Father during this time.
On another note. Halloween is just around the corner.  C is dressing as a special forces team member, H will be Taylor Potts sporting a Tech football uniform and M has decided to be a doctor complete with scrubs, lab coat and a stethoscope. They all look really cute and are very excited about trunk or treating! Blessings to all of you! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Halloween.
