Visa Applications/ Waiting on I-800 approval

We are now officially in the travel office at our adoption agency--YEAH!! We sent our applications and documentation (which includes your original passports- a little nerve-wracking) for our Visa's to travel. These must go to the Houston Chinese Consulate for approval and a stamp in the passport. Yes, I admit, this will be my first stamp in the passport. I have been out of the country, but only to Canada and the Caribbean- before passports were necessary and certainly nothing like this trip:) I am excited!! We also have a proposed travel date of Dec. 10th. The agency says we could go before or after but they are thinking this may be our travel group. So...if we are able and all goes well, we could be flying back in to Dallas on Christmas Eve. Wouldn't that be fun!! We are also still waiting on our final approval from US immigration. We should hear something this week and I will post when we receive it. Nothing else big going on. Just starting to make packing lists and thinking about the what if's regarding travel and of course, wondering what Lillie is up to:)

Amy,
I read through every bit of your blog today and needless to say I am in tears. I am praying for all of you and can't wait to hear more! I'm going to work on my quilt square this week!
