Hague Training Complete/Reviewing Homestudy

Today we received confirmation that our adoption training is complete. This is a new requirement with the Hague convention and we had to take 10 hours of education regarding bonding, attachment and issues that may arise for children who have been in an orphanage. We also received our homestudy to review to make sure that there were not any errors. We are hoping to get the finalized copy this week so we can send it off to USCIS for an updated approval.
I also saw this poem today and wanted to share it.

Every call has a beginning.
A quiet moment when
God whispers a promise to a mother's heart.
A holy place where a father bows and faithfully
accepts the journey set before him.
A miraculous morning that unexpectedly dawns
casting it's first light on a chosen threshold.
A closed door opens.
A sacred invitation sent by the Father
leads to the other side of the world.
Where lonely hearts stare out orphanage windows
praying for someone to care.......
And then one morning,
on an ordinary day
an orphan's life changes.
God sends them a second chance
through you.
